Only 9% of Americans Support War in Syria

And only 25% support war even if it's confirmed that Assad used chemical weapons.

Like I said earlier, Washington DC is addicted to war like a fat pig that will eat anything. Time to kill the fat pig and gut it.

This will only wind up helping somebody like Rand Paul and his non-interventionist message.

I definitely don't want to enter into another war, which I would eventually end up being a part of...but if those innocent citizens really were gassed by Asad then whats the difference between that and what Hitler did? It's pure evil.

I disagree with Paul on a lot, but if he'll end the drug war and keep us out of foreign entanglements, I'd vote for him.

Here is the difference. With Hitler you knew who the enemy was. With this convoluted, ever changing clusterf*ck that is the middle east. There is no defined enemy.
Which side do you bomb?
The Assad regime, who said they didn't use chemical weapons?
Or the rebels, the other muslims who would be just as happy to kill an American soldier as they would an Assad supporter.

Are these the guys you really want to help?

FedGov doesn't care about polls. It's for our SECURITY... that we're not allowed to know about.

It exactly on topic, but isn't Assad a puppet? Does he really carry much weight or do we even know?

Because Hitler was engaged in genocide while Assad is just trying to win a civil war.

EDIT: Also Germany had declared war on us and were sinking ships in the Gulf and the Atlantic long before we stormed the beaches of Normandy.
