That's odd, because Trump was talking about how great of a job President Obama was doing.

Pretty sure there were some necessary financial regs for Obama to put in place, and the dollar values for both are way overstated. In many cases regulations save us money.

Trump On Regulation: The First Six Months
quote:

Annual Cost of Finalized Rules Added: $378 million
quote:

Annual Savings of Rules Finalized AND PROPOSED for Withdrawal: $207 million

So this is obviously a change in the right direction, but we've still added more regulations and more costs than regulations withdrawn, even including the savings of those that have only been proposed.

so you're on board he's actually trying to make a dent in the entrenched bureaucracy and you're complaining the process is too slow?

No. I'm saying that it's an improvement from Obama, but it's still an increase. So your meme is inaccurate. In addition, after all of that huge government growth over the years, we are still somehow managing to grow it more.

So at this point, it's basically like the left touting the smaller deficit in Obama's later years. Ignoring that a huge deficit is not somehow not huge because it's less than the monstrous deficit from before.

But I'll give Trump more time before I take too much issue with this; however, the historical tendency is that the first year in office of new president is the year with the most deregulation. It becomes more disproportionately in favor of more regulation after the first year.

The hysteria for Obama was greater than even the prog media hate for Trump.

And then nothing happened.

Ever.

Until 2nd term and all that shite was bad.
