I just don't get the mentality of always looking for how someone is not paying me enough respect. How are people so fragile? Go spend some time in countries where they don't give a rip about your feelings in this, then tell me how bad it is here.

The problem with censoring speech based on what terms are offensive (aside from the fact that speech is being censored at all) is that terms change. We know this because the left is trying to change them all the time. Eventually you'll run out of words to use because everything will have some sort of offensive connotation as designated by some victim group.

Genesis was putting out some good music during and immediately after the Peter Gabriel years. ABACAB was one of my favorites.

I had a crush on Phil Collins his drums caused orgasmics. I also always wondered if the Aussies and Brits sang in their accents and not American what they would sound like? Like Olivia Newton John, she sang with no accent like Phil and George Michael.

You don't have to understand the culture and concept for it to exist. I've been out of the country many times.

You don't even have to be confrontational about it. It is what it is.

That's an interesting observation. Van Morrison is another. He's Irish. And I know you like Van. The man performs from a place deep within his heart and soul. TB Sheets is a great example. It's the voice of pain and love...a real masterpiece. And it's very real. Great musicians are able to tap into that realm. Speaking of Phil, he wrote some of his best music during intense moments of melancholia, as has Clapton and many other blues artists.

I don't understand why illegal immigrant is offensive. It is an accurate description. It is like saying someone is black, or white. Like saying someone is tall or short.

I don't care is somebody is conservative or liberal, can someone explain why it is offensive?

What planet does ethnic only refer to non-whites? These people have bad friends.

The "ethnic hair" section at Walmart is not for white people.
