Niece of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. says Sen. Warren misused her aunt's words

There is a video in the link below as well as a text of Dr. Alveda King's statement about Sen. Warren and her aunt's letter by Coretta Scott King.

Dr. Alveda King, niece of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., however, said Senator Warren is using the King named to play the race card and stir up emotions.
“In that letter [Coretta Scott King] would be referring to some of [Sen. Jeff Sessions] comments,” King told the FOX Business Network’s Neil Cavuto. “However, she would agree today that he of course ended some [school segregation and] he worked to prosecute members of the KKK.”
King added: “It’s almost like a bait and switch, stir up the emotions, in the name of King—and my name is Alveda King… [and] play the race card, which she was attempting to do.”

I'm all for making Warren look bad, but I just don't think this is going to do too much.
I mean, the letter speaks for itself.

She's a conservative and biased, so what?
I think she's a fine source for contesting that black people should be against Sessions. But I don't think she can change what her aunt wrote, which is what Warren is using.

Senator Warren
Is trying to take up the mantle of Ted Kennedy in the Senate.
He used to be the most evil frick in the Senate and everything he did was designed around the purpose of undermining our way of life and culture here in the US

It's all childish political grandstanding. He will be nominated.

How in the hell did she misuse her words when she simply read the letter that advised against confirming Sessions in 1986?

What about this video?
How do you weigh a letter against a more recent video?

What does the video show?
If it's CSK praising Sessions or withdrawing her concerns, then I might agree it's important. Even if that's the case, I don't see how reading a letter someone wrote could constitute "misusing" their words.

Nothing worse than using a dead woman's words to advance a political agenda that she likely would not support if she was still breathing.

She was using it as an end around to criticize and impugn a sitting senator which is in clear violation of senate rule 19. That's it. She didn't misquote. She misused them insofar as senate rules of decorum. So, she lost her right to speak.
Crazy cat lady gonna crazy cat lady.
ETA: And I don't even like Sessions.
