I remember hearing about the ACLU in The American President. I was 17 at the time.
I was like "Wow, cool organization."

It's truly sad and frightening what has become of the ACLU.

They've always been off the deep end. Remember that in that movie, President Andrew Shepherd, played by Michael Douglas, was going to introduce legislation to ban handguns.
I have to admit to liking the movie, but let's not forget that this was Rob Reiner's attempt after the Lewinski mess to justify to America leaving Clinton's private life alone.

Actually the ACLU was born, raised, and still lives in the deep end. It was formed in the 1920s to defend anti-war activist and communist. Occasionally, the helping of anything but socialism, is just a red herring!

Linda Sarsour and her kind are enemies of the 1st Amendment. The ACLU today is a far cry from the organization that defended the American Nazi Party in the Skokie case.

Does it ever occur to these people that some (most) of these individuals simply pretend to "fight for civil and social liberties" so they can get support and backing to enact their own fricked up agenda?
