Not really that complex. Had Trump stayed out of it, like a normal President would have, this would have already passed.

Maybe but there were thousands, maybe millions, that had already turned their back on the NFL for allowing CK to shite on the flag, long before Trump was a factor. I know it's great for your narrative, but it's been going on longer than your side is willing to admit. As the statement in the OP attests, the NFL, the kneelers, and their supporters have chosen to ignore, impugn, and demean those who refuse to support them, and have been doing so since it started.

But since Trump got involved, it forced many of his disciples to "take a side" on what was an irrelevant distraction otherwise.

The fact that those on your side want to make the case that shitting on our country is an "irrelevant distraction" is telling.

Well he didn't say anything until quite recently and the kneeling has been going on since last year

What is the Elites play on this? Trump was put in place by the elites, right? So they must be in support of him not staying out of it. Now, as you say, it has forced people to take a side.

Are you telling me there are no elites among the owners of NFL franchises?

What is the play here?

The protests are having an impact on attendance, but there's some other issues at play:
1. Increasing ticket costs & PSLs
2. Quality and affordability of High-end TVs and home theater systems + packages like NFL Sunday Ticket
3. Game Day Experience - the proliferation of fights, public drunkenness, profane language, etc at so many NFL stadiums has gotten out of hand. Just search "NFL Stadium Fights" on YouTube and you'll see its not just an issue confined to a few cities and teams.

But all the progs told us that fans boycotting the NFL would have no impact at all.

There's some protesting going on, without a doubt, but it's fans protesting the product being put on the field, I believe, more than any pronounced reaction to a handful of players displaying their Constitutional rights before kickoff

Or, this could be the "last straw" to a fanbase already disenchanted with the crappy product on the fields, but willing to tolerate it until the demonstrations started.

Anything short of shutting down is no big deal? Is that your position?

Know how I know you don't own a business?

At least it's more useful than your normal contributions. You aren't as clever as Displaced. Don't try to be like him.

Nope not yet. Just hemorrhhaging dollars off of that next tv contract. No biggie. As you say....the league hasn't folded...the owners won't mind that loss of revenue.

As I said, you aren't as clever as Displaced. The Schlick isn't working for you.

So to answer your question. No the NFL has not folded. Why do you ask?

In reality, who wants to watch a bunch of 20-30 years old protest their feelings and play a child's game while cashing checks for millions of dollars.

Such a disconnect. Bunch of spoiled 1%ers.

If you need this board to tell you whether it's folded, you are more simple than you come across. Which is pretty simple.

What kind of loser plays these silly games?

So, I would assume we can find some stats showing these packages are selling like gangbusters?
