quote:

President Trump will sign an executive order Thursday to start an investigation into voter fraud, according to ABC News.

Vice President Mike Pence and Kansas Secretary of State Kris Kobach will be named chair and vice chair, respectively, of the "Presidential Commission on Election Integrity," the report said. The commission will be announced later Thursday.

quote:

Lawmakers from both parties will be included in the commission, and they will review “vulnerabilities” in U.S. voting systems, as well as any possible cases of "improper voting, fraudulent voter registrations and fraudulent voting," ABC reported.

The commission will be charged with reviewing Trump's allegations of mass voter fraud in the 2016 election as well as "systemic issues that have been raised over many years in terms of the integrity of the elections."

Dems should be for this right? Wouldn't this expose the level muh Russians "hacked" our election?

Fine with me.

Bush did the same thing around 2004 and they found nothing in regards to voter fraud.

Props to The Donald, after waiting for Congress to do their job to no avail, for doing whatever its takes to get to the bottom of this Russian story.

It should be extremely important for both sides of the aisle.

If it is non partisan it would help both parties.

It could also be a problem for Trump if the Senate and House committee's change this into a special commission/prosecutor.

Yep, Hawaii will sue claiming the President doesn't have the executive authority to look into voter fraud in state ran elections.

And they may actually be right on this one.

Sounds like a waste of resources that will keep people distracted. There is no mass voter fraud. I don't understand why people think it's an issue.

how many millions of illegal voters did Trump say in his latest tweet on the topic?

3 to 5 million.

if its true, then I want to see those 4 million deported.
they would have had to give their address to vote in a given precinct.

Creamer admitted it on video. An organized nationwide effort of organized voter fraud most definitely falls under RICO and opens the door for federal action.

There's a cause and effect to Trump playing hardball in Detroit, Milwaukee, Philly, Cleveland and the results you saw on election night. Trump and the GOP scared the Dems in these cities straight and you saw it in the results. Yes, black turnout was down. But there was also no voter fraud in Philadelphia for the first time in our lives.

I know firsthand from Wisconsin GOP operatives that Priebus had Philly and Milwaukee voting precincts on absolute lockdown with observers in early voting and election day and police raids prior to election day in Philly.

I personally witnessed voter fraud back in the 1970's in which a municipal election was stolen. With a wink and a nod from the Feds. Don't tell me there isn't any.

So to recap

You have no problem with MULTIPLE investigations into Russian interference in our election despite the fact that there is zero evidence of any such thing, but you think 1 investigation into voter fraud ?

Sounds logical

It won't be with Kobach involved. Guy has had a hard on for voting restriction his entire career. This is a post he's been dreaming about.

I just hope the Dems put on the committee aren't a bunch of wet noodle milquetoasts and challenge Kobach.

Always a good idea. But the timing is oh so transparent that even Helen Keller could see right through it

If it's a good idea, WTF does timing have to do with it?

Either it's a good idea or or isn't.
