NAACP is a racist hate group.

Good on Trump for not legitimizing that racist hate organization

Racist for sure.
But I reject the premise that all racism is immoral.

For obvious reasons I cited in the cum dumpster Toddy's thread, he has no reason to accept their invite.

I view racism as a mere tool. Like a hammer, it can build or destroy depending on the one who uses it.
The NAACP, United Negro College Fund, National Medical Association (NMA), National Urban League, National Society of Black Engineers (NSBE), etc., are all examples of private non-profits that utilize racism for the defense and preservation of the group they choose to focus on.
Obviously, if racism in and of itself were a moral evil then society at large would consider the organizations above as evil, but it doesn't. This is because it's not true that racism in and of itself is evil, although it can be used for evil purposes like subjugation, slavery, and genocide.

I can't find them anywhere on the Southern Poverty Law Center's list.

So blacks, Obama and this tool in the article, don't know any better than white folks on how to manage money? I guess the old white guys being lambasted over the last several decades don't have a monopoly on misappropriating money after all.

Nah. They aren't racist at all. I don't consider anyone or any group to be racist unless they look at another race as inferior to their own.

It would be shameful to address them as they are unapologetically racist. Why give them any legitimacy to continue their racist hate campaigns against whites, latinos and asians. And let's not forget that their constituency is the most overtly homophobic in America outside of Muslims.

But you are making the mistake mixing racism and morality.
Racism itself is amoral. It is no more evil or good than a hammer or screwdriver.
It can be used for evil purposes however. Like the the things I mentioned for example: subjugation, slavery, and genocide.
It can be used for good purposes like providing scholarships, job networking, and economic partnerships.

No. I made no judgement regarding racism, I provided what I consider to be the correct definition. As far as your belief in good types of racism and bad types of racism I'll go to an emoticon.

Our society has conditioned you well.

Nope. We're mostly on the same page but I don't think you're following me so I'm probably doing a poor job of explaining. In short what you consider to be "good racism" I have no problem with and don't consider it to be racism at all. But you're taking actions that are not bad and labeling them with a bad name and then explaining why the label is not always bad. Why not instead just accept that those actions aren't examples of racism and skip the mental gymnastics?

I agree...like Unions they have become what they were first create for to fight against...

The 'label' is illogical.
If racism = evil then the groups I mentioned are evil. Do you reject them as evil?
If racism = evil then affirmative action is evil. Do you reject affirmative action?
We have been conditioned to equate racism with evil and yet are told that various institutions that practice it are 'good'.
This is a failure of logic.

They aren't evil because they aren't racist

Are you reading what I'm typing? I don't consider affirmative action to be racism. Racism means believing that races posses different characteristics and that those characteristics make one or more races superior to one or more other races.

Gotcha.
We can't have a meaningful discussion if we can't agree on basic definitions.

Affirmative action was created by white people to benefit black people. Is your position that the white people that created affirmative action are racist against white people?
The NAACP was created by black and white people to stop lynching during a time when federal, state, and local governments actively denied us legal and human rights. Was that racist?
