Principles, in other words, keep certain people, for religious, spiritual, or ethical reasons from aborting a pregnancy, although it is legal for them to do so
That was my point. Principles get it right. The Constitution got it wrong on Abortion. The interpretation of free speech is harming us. The 2nd is a fiery topic, and I am telling you, we are not clear on this one. Say what you want about cars, alcohol, bats etc; guns are for killing. That's it's sole purpose. Yes these other things kill too, when abused, or malfunction. But guns, whether they are used, abused, 'go off accidentally', they kill.
All I am saying to everyone is stop being so passionate about a right
, don't let that guide you or direct your response.
What about what you know is right? What is hard to say and do, but should be done.
And just on a side note, in all this debate, whether its obscene movies or violence, why doesn't anyone admit the satisfaction they get from these excesses?
This may be an exception to most gun owners, I'm sure it is, but I had a co worker say to me the other day ' ill admit it, I am excited for weeks after I buy a new gun, it gives me a natural high'.
Do any of you feel this way? Does this explain why some people purchase multiple guns?
