Moving to Canada is the funniest thing of this election

1) Canada doesn't want them
2) They would spend more time back in the U.S.
3) Canada doesn't want them

The next time someone tries to talk up the Canadian health care system, throw this stat at them...which I read a few years back and believe is likely still true:

More Americans per capita every year are diagnosed with cancer.

More Canadians per capita every year die of cancer.

Lengthy wait times for everything.

As of 2010, there were 6 MRI machines per million people, compared to 26.6 per million in the US. There were more MRI machines in the city of Pittsburgh than in the entire nation of Canada.

I'm still waiting for the first report of someone leaving the country because of the election. So far there's been just talk and hot air.

If you're educated in certain fields (i.e. engineering), it's significantly easier to immigrate to Canada than the US. You can get the equivalent of a green card without ever having to step foot on Canadian soil. DUIs are considered a felony in Canada, and they don't let felons in the country.
