Washington Times article

Sad that they resort to these tactics to pursue an agenda that is an outright loser for them if they run on it. But, completely expected.

No primary lead smelter in the U.S., as it was regulated out of existence by the EPA. Now, they have a template to ban lead ammunition everywhere. I have to tip my hat to them, though, they never give up on their principles and agendas and are not distasteful in their use of "any means necessary" to accomplish them.

i hate the EPA as much as the next guy...but it seems they're more concerned with getting rid of lead than gun control

Well, this is US F&W, Choctaw, and they withheld data until California passed a lead ammunition ban, THEN told them that the lead free ammo zone had no effect on the condors (i.e. they're getting the lead from somewhere else).

What are the chances they'll reverse that lead ban now that the truth is out?

Zero. That is why I love gridlock. No stupid laws get passed that cannot get reversed. They try to fix laws which only leads to further complication. Then the law book gets bigger and bigger. We cannot even list all laws that can be broken at this point.
