They did "create it"; gave you your FREEDOM...and wrote a Document that prevented the group - through *government* - around you from extorting from you the fruits of your labor. To paraphrase Lysander Spooner, either the constitution is responsible for our current government, or it was powerless to stop it. Either way, it's unfit to exist.
And I laugh when people say that the constitution limits the government when it's whole purpose was to create a powerful, centralized one.
