Minnesota high school bans flags on student cars in HS parking lot

and students quickly rectify the situation:
HS bans american flags
Students at a Minnesota high school defied a mandate Wednesday prohibiting them from flying the American flag on vehicles in the school parking lot.
ROCORI High School administrators in Cold Spring caved to demands after allegations the new flag policy found in the student handbook censored the display of Old Glory.
“Students are not allowed to display flags or banners from their vehicle while parked in the ROCORI High School parking lot,” the new policy stated, attempting to prohibit Confederate flag displays.
The handbook also claimed flag policy violators’ vehicles “may be given a ticket or towed away at the expense of the owner.”.....

Well, they are going to lose the American flag battle (the school on PR). As far as the Confederate flag goes it's a bad idea to allow them on campus.

Minnesota translates into English as "Excessive White Guilt".
It amazes me how people who live in these lilly white areas are so paranoid about this crap. So much irony.

probably ... if it's deemed by the school to be detrimental to the learning environment ... i'm not a lawyer and have zero interest in acting like one, so all the lawyers can chill out before they list the court cases and why i'm wrong, but i think the sc had generally, for the most part, stated schools can do what they deem necessary to keep the peace ...

Public school. Kids should be able to do what they want. If it was private I would have no issue with the kids getting in trouble.
