quote:

Influential Mexicans are pushing an aggressive and perhaps risky strategy to fight a likely increase in deportations of their undocumented compatriots in the U.S.: jam U.S. immigration courts in hopes of causing the already overburdened system to break down. The proposal calls for ad campaigns advising migrants in the U.S. to take their cases to court and fight deportation if detained. “The backlog in the immigration system is tremendous,” said former Foreign Minister Jorge Castañeda. The idea is to double or triple the backlog, “until [U.S. President Donald] Trump desists in this stupid idea,” he added.

quote:

Mr. Castañeda is part of a group of Mexican officials, legislators, governors and public figures planning to meet with migrant groups Saturday in Phoenix to lay out plans to confront the Trump administration’s deportation policy. Mexico’s government hasn’t endorsed the strategy or the group’s Phoenix mission. But it recently allocated some $50 million to assist undocumented migrants facing deportation, and President Enrique Peña Nieto has instructed the country’s 50 consulates in the U.S. to defend migrants.

quote:

The issue of stepped-up deportations is moving to the forefront in bilateral relations that have fractured since Donald Trump’s inauguration. Mr. Trump’s plans to deport undocumented Mexicans, renegotiate the countries’ free-trade deal, and build a border wall at Mexico’s expense have sparked a nationalist backlash south of the border.

quote:

Along with confronting the Trump administration by overwhelming tribunals, Monarca is also exploring making the U.S. responsible for providing documentation that deportees are Mexicans, Mr. Castañeda says, rather than Mexico accepting them without that documentation.

quote:

We want to be friends, but in the face of continued hostility we don’t have to keep a friendly attitude forever,” said Arturo Zamora, a senator with Mr. Peña Nieto’s ruling Institutional Revolutionary Party. The new U.S. administration’s plans have put Mr. Peña Nieto in an uncomfortable position of defending Mexico’s interest while keeping communications channels open with his mercurial American counterpart.

I know I quoted a lot of text from that article, but I felt all of it pertinent to the discussion. There are almost too many things to discuss.

The fact that a foreign government will allocate funds to assist their citizens in breaking our laws is very disturbing and certainly opens the gate for Trump to directly retaliate against them with taxing remissions/cutting off aid, etc.

Another thing I find very disturbing is that we're going to actually allow a foreign agent to enter our country and whip the natives into a lather over them breaking our laws. Cancel this bastards visa with haste.

And still, the fact that they're going to force the US to prove these people are from Mexico? Bitch please. We're putting your arse on a bus, decide where you want to go but it ain't here. Comprende? Adios mf!

I don't understand this, or the Middle Eastern countries against our immigration crackdown. Are the actual countries admitting they are shite and hoping people leave?

The DOJ has the authority to hire temporary immigration judges. They have them for 6 month renewable periods.

They need to ramp up that program and get several hundred makeshift courts together and get the deportation orders rolling.

I'm sure several poliboard attorneys would be happy to volunteer.

I hear Guantanamo has some space. Send them there if Mexico won't take them.

It's pretty clear. The Mexican government is providing funds to allow its own citizens to stay here.

This is not new, but the Mexican government admits it is a shithole and says "I don't blame you for leaving and, in fact, I will help you."

We set up a few of these and start rolling Mexis through there quickly, they'll start self deporting quickly. When Alabama passed that law a few years back, you could literally see them on the interstates like ants getting out.

It's not as complicated as that. These migrants are the indigenous peoples of Mexico. They are short and darker skinned. The elitist Mexican's do not want them or care about them.

Those folks are seen as a lesser class in Mexico. The Castillians would prefer that they stay in the US and they are willing to spend lots of money to make that happen.

Racist, bigots are the Mexicans.

Look at their politicians. You won't see many 4 foot 11 inch dark skinned men like you see working on a farm, roofing or waiting at the home depot for side work.

Well the Mexican economy is really going to shite, when the money stops flowing in from the the illegals that work here take money from our economy and send it to family in Mexico. That and the renegotiation of NAFTA.

Didn't President Obama's administration deport more people than any other? What's the big deal now? Any foreign government that's actively telling its citizens that are here illegally to resist our laws can go get fricked.

Racism. That's why. The next time you see someone that looks like Pres Nieto swimming across the Rio Grande will be the first time.

Yep. The ones we are getting are the indigenous Mexicans. We aren't getting Spanish Mexicans like all of the big titty senioritas on Univision.

Mobilize the 4th army division to the border, send about 200 tanks to mass at the border, start flying recon missions over Mexico city and add 2 aircraft carriers to each side, both Gulf of Mexico and Pacific Ocean. Add 4 marine amphibious units to the aircraft carrier battle groups and relocate 100 fighter/bombers to southern border states. Federalize the border and call up 50,000 reserves to the border. Watch the peso crash to nothing. Tell them you will take these motherfrickers back or we will create a demarcation point in Mexico for them to come back and if you open your goddamn mouth about it one more time we will shock and awe your arse on live TV.
It's only a dream but really, frick these taco eating phucks
