Md. Dem Attorney General in hot water after being caught at party with underage

kids drinking. There goes his run for Gov. Unless of course, you believe his answer is right, which I'm sure Dems will.

quote:

Gansler, a Democrat who is running for governor, said this week that he stopped by the Delaware beach house to talk briefly with his teenage son and then left. He said he does not remember whether he saw anyone drinking. But even if he had, Gansler said, it was not his responsibility as a parent or a high-ranking law enforcement official to intervene.

“Assume for purposes of discussion that there was widespread drinking at this party,” Gansler said. “How is that relevant to me? … The question is, do I have any moral authority over other people’s children at beach week in another state? I say no.”

Even though he's right, this isn't something he should say.

While not under his jurisdiction, he has a responsibility to report the underage drinking to authorities.

Wow, he looks creepy in that pic. I'm sure this will never be brought up by the press.

One person tweeted that HE was the one who rented the house. IF that is true, then he should really take some heat, beyond what he should be taking already.

His PSA on underage drinking

yet...

"We're at 60 percent condemning it and criticizing Gansler and about 40 percent trying to defend Gansler," Imms said. He said some callers were talking about the "moral dimension" of the issue of allowing underage children to drink, while other were questioning whether "political shenanigans" were behind the report.

In your house after you are aware of it? YES!!!!
An attorney pleading ignorance of the law is classic.

lol at him taking a picture. I'm sure they are deleted by now. Spank bank material. But honestly I see nothing wrong with this as long as there is rules in place that everyone has to give up their keys and no one can leave without their parents picking them up and being aware of the fact they were drinking. High school graduation party's at private homes/ halls do this so their kids don't drive. Let's face it they gonna get drunk anyway, might as well do it where you, as a parent, has some kind of control. lol still laughing at this douche taking pics of high school girls. Kinda creepy hell he didn't even try to hide it lol.

If this was a Republican he'd already have been forced to resign.

Wonder if anyone there, had an accident going home, or had a medical issue arise from drinking too much at the party.

Precisely why I love this sir. This is an attorney general pleading ignorance on top of it. Any liability arising out of this has settlement and deep pockets written all over it.

Perfect for this story.
