We'll probably have to lose a war. Or maybe the next generation or two realizes how fricking stupid it is.

How many flag draped coffins have to fly home before the SJW's think this is a bad idea?

That number is infinity of course, because their mission is one of inclusiveness, not effectiveness.

Why not? We know their are sex differences in personality, cognition, etc. So for an analyst position, males will be better at certain tasks & roles and females will be better at others.

If you can prove to me that the benefits outweigh the risks of having women in the military then I'll change my mind.

Just get women out of the military and this problem goes away overnight.

Victim blaming is weak.

That said, women make up 14.6% of the military, or over 200,000. That doesn't include the nearly 600,000 in the reserves and National Guard.

So, dump 800,000 members of our military overnight?
Not to mention that 30.5% of the medical services are represented by women (and 39% of the medical officers). So your logic is to devastate the medical arms of the branches because we have a bunch of men who can't keep it in their pants?

The real point should be that national intel analysts should not be a Marine Corps billet
Thats a very good point

Idk man, it sounds like you are trying to say the problem is the group that was wronged. The actual definition of victim blaming.

It's policy blaming, not victim blaming.

I could maybe get on board with some sort of women's auxiliary to be nurses and administrative specialists.

You are shifting the issue away from the people who were fricked over.

That isn't how the military works

Oh? Did you know the Marine corps did an entire study proving that coed units were scientifically less effective in the field than all male units? That all male units had less medical leave time and less injuries while being more likely to be able to lift more weight and carry more wounded comrades to safety?

How do you think that plays out in a combat environment?

Even worse was the secretary of the Navy rejecting the study as 'sexist'.

Based on that you think it's a good move to continue to allow them to serve?

The person I feel bad for is the grunt serving next to them. He didn't sign up to be a guinea pig in a social experiment gone horridly wrong, but it's his arse on the line when the person next to him is qualified by gender and not ability.

No Im not. If the policy hadn't let them in in the first place they wouldn't have been fricked over.

I've always thought we needed to scale back from those sorts of positions. That's not our purpose. Problem is, Marines pin on a star and get sucked into budgets and collaboration with other services. They can't help themselves.

Those pictures definitely should not have been shared in the way they were shared, but I'm having a hard time feeling sympathy here. If you take and share nude photos of yourself, they are going to end up online. Don't do it.

And if the Marines didn't frick them over, then they wouldn't have been fricked over

What the Marines did is no different than what happens on college campuses or even the OT on a daily basis. It's literally impossible to stop. The difference being that college coeds and the OT aren't charged with fighting our nations wars.

Okay, but you haven't said one word about what should happen to those involved in the scandal other than the women shouldn't be in the military. What about the men involved? Given that it already happened.

Yeah I'm having a hard time viewing "guys shared nude pics" as a huge scandal.

You just quoted half my post out of context. I said they don't have gender quotas. Don't take what I say out of context.

They broke the rules. Punish them. Very simple. There's a much bigger issue behind this though.

When they start adjusting PFT standards because no women are passing, is that a quota?

And what punishment should they receive? How severe?
