quote:

"We are going to repeal and replace Obamacare," he told reporters this morning. "Maybe not happen this week or next week but it's going to happen."

Rubio also defended President Trump against criticism he did not do enough.

“I just want to be fair to the president. He was told by numerous people: Let the Senate work it out and then you can come in at the end and help us close it, and he followed that advice and it didn’t work out. So I wouldn’t put that on him. I would put that on the fact that we have four, five, six people for different reasons are not prepared to support the proposals that are before us, and it’s disappointing. Republicans achieved a majority on this promise. …

"Virtually every Republican candidate in the country campaigned on it and we need to continue to work on it."

Marco is correct this is a collassal failure on the part of the GOPe leadership most notably McConnell. Trump will not make the same mistake next time I can guarantee it. He will place a power player to get the deal done aka Marco Rubio. This is disgusting that we have ATLEAST 3 no votes for a complete repeal when everyone ran on that premise. These no votes need to be burned to the ground and given zero quarter. If Marco was in charge the GOP as a whole would fall in line.

Remember when you use to insist that you didn't work for Marco? I remember.

Well Senator Rubio is obviously mistaken and doesn't read the WSJ. Their article and the entire fake press says that it is ENTIRELY President Trumps fault.

Poor Marco, doesn't keep up with current events. Signed, CNN

quote:

The ObamaCare Republicans ran on fiscal discipline but they rejected the best chance for entitlement reform in a generation. They campaigned against deficits—and some like Mr. Moran and Nevada’s Dean Heller have endorsed a balanced-budget amendment—yet they dismissed a $1.022 trillion spending cut. They denounced ObamaCare’s $701 billion in tax increases but then panicked over repealing “tax cuts for the rich.”
