If one believes that sexual orientation is innate as opposed to chosen, refusing someone service for being gay is identical to refusing them service for being black.
I imagine no one is going to argue that political ideology is innate; therefore, they are different.
And I say this as someone who believes a business should be able to refuse service to anyone for any reason.

But, the cake bakers were fined by the city something in the area of 150k. Liberals celebrated the persecution of this small business.
