Theall was voted out of her district seat in 2014 for being a bitch to everyone in Lafayette. I can't remember the last time a sitting district judge lost their seat.

Par for the course sounds just like Louisiana politics to me

At least Perret has broad experience. The rumor blog, the Independent, has been focused solely on reporting dirt from years ago. Perret is not under investigation. It's all rumors, no reality.

I supported Theall in the race where she was elected but she was awful as a judge.

Anseman dropped out of the practice of law years ago. I don't know why she is running.

While it is a weak slate, Perret is at least qualified.
