How many Americans have been killed in terrorist attacks inside the United States since the September 11, 2001, atrocities? Arguably 16. Egyptian Hesham Mohamed Hadayet killed two Israelis at the El Al ticket counter at the Los Angeles airport on July 4, 2002. On June 1, 2009, Abdulhakim Muhammed killed one soldier at a recruiting center in Little Rock, Arkansas, and Army psychiatrist Maj. Nidal Hasan killed 13 soldiers during a shooting rampage in at Fort Hood, Texas in November 2009.

Boston Marathon doesn't count?
What's the number since Sept 10 2001? Does that change the ratio at all?

Are you suggesting we throw trillions of dollars paid for on the promises of our children's productivity to combat lightning deaths?

And that's why we need to keep the fight over there instead of becoming complacent by letting the terrorists over here where the odds would surely even out.

what could go wrong? if there is in fact more lightning than terrorist then surely we should spend that much more to protect against lightning attacks.

Didn't a Bosnian Muslim shoot up a mall a few years ago? We could add that one to the list.
