I am here in Iowa as well and saw this ad the other night.
The radio ads are the same, they said KOCH BROTHERS about 6 times in the 30 second spot, and threw in rich oil billionaires as well.

Darkly hilarious considering which race it is aimed at.
The Dem candidate is a DC whore who makes fun of farmers and talks up his lawyer credentials in fundraisers outside of Iowa.
Ernst, OTOH, is a Lt. Colonel in the Iowa National Guard and a former hog farmer.

Lots of girls I work with at my job are hardline democrats who buy into the whole war on women crap and were upset about the Hobby Lobby ruling

If Ernst wins and takes that Democratic seat in November it should be a valuable lesson to the warring factions within the Republican party.
There are candidates and potential candidates out there who can win the enthusiastic support of both the "establishment" and Tea Party factions, as she has done so successfully, by not playing one side against the other.

i don't see one ad as being that way.
in 2012, there were birther ads, at least in CO. Does this mean the republican party openly embraced that obama was born in kenya?

The statements of prominent party officials--even elected leaders--portend as much. It will get more naked from the democratic side as the years draw on and white Americans decline as a percentage of the population. Believe it.

Enough in the party were perceived to embrace it that people who had no reason to be enthusiastic about Obama still showed up to vote because they hated his opposition. As I said, it runs both ways. Race has always been a "fault-line," "wedge," or whatever other cute term we might choose. It's been used by all sides. It has been used blatantly at times, subtly at others.

Nothing will change anytime soon, most of these younger adults have been drenched in liberal teachings and culture while the conservatives who could be in academia teaching and influencing young people are out in the private sector working. It's actually sickening, you work your azz off to pay taxes so these Libs can teach/infect your children with your tax dollars.
