They do try things other than laughing: attacking peaceful protesters with pepper spray, burning and otherwise destroying public property, rioting because the idea of living in a democracy is completely foreign to them, etc, etc. Nothing but really productive forms of protest like that!

Just curious, why is the democratic party not liable as well? They lost to him. When you lose something, you bear some of the responsibility.

Its bad leadership to put up a bad bill after only crafting it for 18 days. Its bad leadership to deliver an ultimatum and deadline when you dont have the votes.

The Democrats said they would pass a health care bill - and they did. The Republicans said they would repeal it, then they said they would repeal and replace the ACA - they've done neither, and looked incompetent in the process.

While that would be ideal for the Democrats, the Republicans look like they're going to make it easy for the Democrats by coming off as a bunch of loud-mouthed do-nothing hypocrites and giving the Democrats the next election.
But, ultimately, I shouldn't be surprised that a bunch of people who don't even believe in the federal government are running it like they don't want to be there. It's like having an atheist for a pope. You shouldn't be surprised at his incompetence given his lack of belief.
