As a progressive Democrat, a prosperous America is more important and should be the goal. We just have different views of how to achieve that.

Democrats actions have shown that this simply isn't true. Sadly libs have decided that party before country at all costs.

only liberals? republicans don't do this? you should be very careful throwing all those rocks in your glass house bro... and spare me the "not as bad" bullshite.... especially when we just came off of 8 years of Republicans doing the summarily the EXACT same shite that the Dems are being accused of doing in terms of trying to disrupt their political opponent to the detriment of the constituents and the country...

BOTH parties ain't worth the shite, which is why i chose to remain an independent, and it's always good for a chuckle when one side looks down their nose at the other side on a issue, especially when that side is just as fricking guilty of whatever it is they are talking about....

I would much prefer that Trump be so successful for the middle class that we overturn the 22nd amendment and he stays in office for 30 years or more.....I don't give a flying frick who is in office as long as they realize that America is at its best when the middle class is secure....unfortunately the GOP forgot this in the early 80's and the Democrats fell right in line. Trump paid a lot of lip service to the Middle class during the campaign....more so than any candidate in my life time....but thus far every move has been to place the middle class in even greater stress....and not a single cabinet appointment or action leads me to think he will be anything but another Republican fricking the middle class for all its worth....

I'm no liberal or anti-trump guy. I am an independent.

I ALWAYS want our country to be prosperous.

The well-being of the USA is bigger than any allegiance to a political party or any president.

Anyone who states otherwise is FOS.

Be honest, ladies

A prosperous USA.

Unfortunately almost every single thing Obama did was to keep that from happening.

History will not be kind to BHO.

This is one of the most hypocritical statements ever made on this board.

The entire platform of progressive dem's is to destroy American democracy, the US Constitution, American Values, American traditions, and anything that helps America.

Those two things are mutually inclusive. Trump has to fail for the US to thrive.

Right now all Trump is doing is trying to break everything his predecessor did. It won't accomplish anything other than setting back the USA in terms of general health and human rights.

FIFY

Security is a price to pay for freedom and prosperity. Risk has rewards, and making everybody economically secure removes part of the ingredients necessary for success.

I would like to see him succeed and for America to get better. I'm willing and happy to acknowledge when he does well. I like his SC appointment, most of his cabinet nominees and that he's doing away with a lot of useless regulations. However overall I think he has almost no admirable character traits to speak of and that is hurting his presidency. Now the obvious next question: will you Trumpkins admit when he fails?

Of course I want the USA to prosper. But Trump is a vile, loud and disgusting individual. You honestly can't believe a word that flies out of his mouth. The "what he meant to say" schtick has gotten old. The rants on Twitter are the ramblings of a 10 year old bully. STOP ALREADY!

bullshite, the Republicans never tried to overthrow or undermine Obama's presidency. What we're seeing from Democrats hasn't been seen for 150 years. Your false equivalence is false.

A prosperous US is more important. But many of Trump's ideas will not lead to a prosperous US, and in those cases I want his ideas to not become policy.

I won't hesitate to give Trump kudos when he deserves them. I've done it on this board at least twice.

Get out of these next two years without a draft and big war.

I do not hate trump. I hold him accountable.

Mexicans will not pay for the wall. Officials admit you cannot put wall at rio grande, 1000 miles. Hes a psychotic and you fell for his bombast.
Its up to congress to stand up to him like the conservatives did.
54 billion for more war. Terrible waste. Pay down the debt now

You should be a little more specific than that. Many conservatives were ready to fall in line.

What's funny to me is the exact same question could be asked to Trump supporters about his ideas passing vs US prosperity. Did anyone actually think the AHCA was an improvement? Everyone on this board supporting it just saw it as a win for Trump. It had nothing to do with the well being of America.

thank you. I kept asking who likes the part where they double the salaries of the health insurance CEOs and pay for their stock oplions with our tax dollars.

money was shifted out of middle class into the pockets of the richest.
why did TD buy that? they are fans of a really bad team and they can't bring themselves to take off the jersey.

it was a terrible bill and most of TD was for it because they did not know anything about it except Trump was demanding it be passed without dissent or real considerations in the Senate.

I loved when he tried to bully the House by threatening primaries and they told him they were not intimidated. Apparently, as you point out, a few are intimidated.

I want to see some members say no to the wall. Let the mexicans pay for it. that was the campaign claim. No US tax money for the wall.

And PS. where the heck does the wall go along the Rio Grande?
