Here's what I'm asking. Do you want to see Trump fail above all else, or would you be pleasently pleased if America thrived under his leadership?

I'm asking this because the Trump hate surpasses anything we've ever seen in American politics. Obama was polarizing, but unlike Trump 1) he had the media in his corner, and 2) half the country wasn't calling for his impeachment before he was even sworn in.

So, which is It? Would you grudgingly give Trump his due if America started thriving under his leadership, or do you want to see Trump crash & burn no matter the effect on the country?

BE HONEST.

What was more important the last 8 years: to see Obama fail or a prosperous USA?

I want him to succeed and do well. Because that's what's best for our country. But I have as much faith in him caring about regular people instead of the ultra wealthy, as I do for my dog to not eat a steak left on a coffee table

So... because the Tea Party was smaller than the current resist Trump efforts it means they should cut him a break?

I am pretty sure when Rush Limbaugh rooted for Obama to fail back in 2008, you made a thread titled:

I'll be honest.

What do you define as prosperous? Is it defined by money and military might?

Ah, the classic deflection...

Typical when one is known for being dishonest or a hypocrite.

It's imperative for the left that Trump fails. Piss on prosperity they have to destroy Trump.

To take just one issue, I would've gladly given Obama credit if he had been interested in improving race relations. Unfortunately, the community agitator had been programmed to be the most racially-divisive President ever.

Don't give a damn whether you believe that or not, but I guess you answered my question with your deflection.

Fair enough, but the elitists were mostly against Trump. It was, for lack of a better term, blue-collar America that put Trump over the top.

He knows that.

A prosperous USA. Watching Obama and Congress actively work against that was brutal.

So we elected what we thought was a change.

The Republicans in Congress are proving quickly that they are not going to change shite and never had any desire to do so. So frick them too.

Anyone who aligns with the two party system can't be trusted. I don't know the solution, but there isn't enough room for both this massive federal government and honest hard working people who believe in small federal government and laissez faire capitalism. DC is getting more and more aggressive and brazen about their lack of care for country and their love of absolute corruption above all else. And the saddest part is most of this country doesn't seem to give a frick.

I want the US to succeed and be prosperous and continue to be prosperous in the future.

I always want out POTUS to succeed at making our country better, although my "better" doesn't always align with the POTUS.

Obama was more racially divisive than Trump?

Trump has been an order of magnitude more divisive than Obama or any other President before him. Thanks to Trump, everyone from Blacks to Jews to Muslims to Mexicans to Indians now hate the white man.
