Or will you wait and see the details first?

Is any reform/bll that lowers taxes on corporations and/or the rich a non-starter for you, even if the bill also lowers taxation on the middle class?

They have not been told yet how to feel.

They are already prepared to feign outrage no matter their ultimate instructions.

I for one want to see the details. I have my own ideas on what we should be doing on tax cuts.

How cute. You're pretending you have the capacity for independent thought.

I'm open to tax reform, although I have little confidence that the GOP will propose anything but a gift to corporations. I was actually pretty impressed with Bannon's call to cut taxes for the lower/middle class by moving the very top tax bracket into the 40% range.

We already have the most progressive income tax system in the world. The top 1% pay far more in taxes than their share of income.

I don't believe there will be any tax reform or tax cuts at all. I think GOPe and DIMe will both set on their hands and do nothing for two years.. I think Trump will hopefully get some more help after 2018 because they have nothing right now. They do not want to give him a win at all, he will brag until the next election and they can't take it. That is my belief...

I make a lot of money so I'm probably getting a tax cut.

All I know is that I pay too much in taxes. I know that I pay too much because I see what kind of government grants are going out for complete bullshite. I also see able-bodied men walking around in the middle of the day in white tees doing nothing, or sitting out on their front porch doing nothing. I'm not sure of all the ways that I subsidize the lifestyles of these people, but I know that I do.

IMHO they will focus on working with Republicans to deny and refuse any chance for ANY Trump legislative achievements, regardless of whether it might help We the People or not.

We the People should know very well by now that the Establishment GOP has great CONTEMPT for We the People. They think we are stupid rubes and they are really pissed at us for electing Trump.

Democrats? They've been hating We the People and wanting to punish us for longer.

as a fellow lefty, I will vehemently oppose any decrease in taxes, unless they are cigarette taxes because that's the only one I pay

Spending reform is what's needed. Unfortunately we'll be sold tax reform which realistically won't reform anything but rather create more loopholes and complexity in an already absurd system. Spending will keep on growing though, so all we will accomplish is creating even more government debt to saddle future generations with.

I could support real tax reform.

I could support a reduction in the corporate tax to 20% or even lower IF it is combined with an increase in taxes for people who earn $500K and up annually.

I cannot support ending the inheritance or estate taxes. And I cannot support ending the AMT which is the only reason some wealthy people pay any income tax at all.
