Reports are that indeed the Brits were the ones that started passing intel on Trump associates in "Late 2015". CNN confirms that multiple countries were also involved in this transfer of 'incidental' intel

However, none of the usual suspects Manafort, Page, Bannon, Flynn, Sessions were even with the campaign in 2015. In fact, Trump didn't even seize the poll lead over Ben Carson until Nov 2015 (which btw is Late 2015)

Carter Page? Nope, he wasn't brought on to the campaign until March '16 as a foreign policy adviser. So how could the Brits make a Trump connection in '15?

Mike Flynn? Yeah, he attended that dinner with RT in December, but wasn't asked until Feb '16 to serve as an adviser to the Trump campaign. So how could the Brits make a Trump connection in '15?

Paul Manafort? He did work for "Pro" Russian Ukarinians (whatever the Hell that means), but it wasn't until March '16 that Trump announced that Manafort would serve as campaign Convention Manager. So how did the Brits make a Trump connection in '15?

Steve Bannon? Nope. He was with Breitbart News until Aug '16

Jeff Sessions? Nope. He didn't endorse Trump until Feb '16. So how did the Brits connect him to Trump in '15?

So that leaves only one Trump associate that these agencies could have been spying on, and providing that Intel to the US intel. His name . . . . ?

That's crazy, Obama didn't go to Trump tower and personally connect wires to telephone lines!! - CNN

Obama politicized federal agencies for the benefit of the Dems. In a year or so, it will be his legacy.

Hmmm.

First, formal affiliation isn't required for association. Erik Prince, for instance, "informally advised" the Trump campaign without ever joining the campaign. That qualifies as an association.

Second, I'm fairly certain that any list of associates for a billionaire international business man has more than five names on it.

Another question that should be asked is why they were looking at anyone? There had been no allegations of collusion because there was no GOP nominee for Muh Russians to collude with. There had been no US election for Muh Russians to hack yet.

Keep digging.

Each and every report has used the term Trump team, or Trump campaign

Not to mention, if the ONLY thing a president needs to do to spy on his opponents is to listen to every foreigner that is known to interact with that president or their team, then unmask like a mother fricker......... that shite is going to be standard practice.

Your tedious point?

There's no indication that "associate" is limited to then-current paid members of the campaign. It could have been business associates advising the campaign. Or various associates who would go on to join the campaign. I doubt whoever drafted these stories (which use associates and "team" almost interchangeably) applied the terms only to formal members of Trump's 2016 campaign team.

He has a large circle of family and business associates who had clear ties to the campaign and would fit any reasonable definition of an associate of Trump or his campaign.

Interestingly, we have excellent evidence that the Obama administration targeted his political opponents issuing government agencies and leaking. Like real, no guess work evidence.

NT is still "hoping" they can find SOMETHING on Trump even after almost 2 years of whiff

Yet people are tying Trump associates actions to Trump. You can't have it both ways.
