Listening to the Kelly File...the reporter for the Daily Beast discussed a FOI email request that the Agency is fighting hard to give up. Carl Levin has already been tied to pushing the IRS to manhandle the Tea Party...but it looks like Landrieu and 14 other Senators were party also.

If these emails are forcibly released, those Senators are slammed. Mary can't be sleeping well.

Not that it will much matter; the IRS is probably manned with Union employees....sooo.

Oh well.

If true, that would be the nail in the coffin...

I don't think Mary is extreme enough to do this.

There's no need for ideological extremity. Holding on to power would be enough of a motive (if this were true).

Found a little background Obama’s IRS stalling on release of emails between officials and Democratic senators

quote:

On May 21, 2013 the National Republican Senatorial Committee sent the IRS a Freedom of Information Act request asking for “any and all documents or records, including but not limited to electronic documents, e-mails, paper documents, photographs (electronic or hard copy), or audio files,” related to correspondence from January 1, 2009 and May 21, 2013 between thirteen different Democrat members of Congress and top IRS officials. Those officials include former IRS Commissioner Doug Shulman, former Commissioner Steven Miller, senior IRS official Joseph Grant and former head of tax exempt groups Lois Lerner. Members of Congress named in the request include Sen. Schumer (D-NY), Sen. Reid (D-NV), DSCC Chair Sen. Bennet (D-CO), Sen. Landrieu (D-LA), Sen. Pryor (D-AR), Sen. Hagan (D-NC), Sen. Begich (D-AK), Sen. Shaheen (D-NH), Sen. Mark Udall (D-CO), Sen. Franken (D-MN), Sen. Warner (D-VA), Rep. Braley and Rep. Peters (D-MI).

Since that request was received by the IRS nearly one year ago, IRS Tax Law Specialists Robert Thomas and Denise Higley have asked for more time to fulfill the request six times.

not a smidgen of corruption in the IRS. If the Securities and Exchange commission asked me to produce an Email from up to 10 years ago, I could find it within an hour. These frickers are so efficient at taking my money every year, yet they can't track downttheir own emails?

frick the IRS, frick everyone involved in this whole disgusting scandal. May they all rot in hell/Arkansas.

Agree. I save every email, no matter how benign. Yes, it sucks up hard drive space, but it's there if I need it.

Most political circles this would be a "boom!"... Cassidy probably thinks this complicates things.

This was 2010, when Obama and his congressional croonies felt they were invincible.

Why wouldn't Mary Landriu and Mark Pryor want to tamp down conservatives?

By the way it wasn't the Daily Beast but rather Townhall.con.

Agreed. Her aww shucks commercial with her dad convinced me that she is just a little ragamuffin stirring up trouble for the establishment in DC.

I don't give a rat's arse about Landrieu and the IRS. Monday morning I'm sending a check to the U.S. Treasury that would make you choke. You don't see me bitching and moaning like a baby.

Mary is probably sleeping fine. She is one smug bitch.

If she isn't sleeping well though, that probably started weeks ago. She is polling terribly for an incumbent
