Is the DOJ looking into the hate crimes going on in Oklahoma and the WII vet?

They don't have time for that. They are trying to make Texas a democrat state. Priorities.

Idiot, You're supposed to link the article and quote a paragraph or two from the article in the OP.

Does the lawsuit block the Texas voter ID law from going into effect while the case is being tried in court?

Another question. In the DOJ lawsuit who has been harmed by the voter ID law?

Allegedly, Tejas didn't properly protect the poor minorities by ensuring them free IDs

Basically, its a 'frick the Supreme Court' move. They are also bitching about redistricting.

Following the ruling, Holder called the court’s decision and its reasoning behind it “flawed,” and vowed to find other ways within the law to challenge the ruling. He planned to do this by targeting other provisions in the act that would allow plaintiffs to present cases where they were unfairly targeted by the law.
“The Department will take action against jurisdictions that attempt to hinder access to the ballot box, no matter where it occurs,” he said. “We will keep fighting aggressively to prevent voter disenfranchisement.”
Texas Gov. Rick Perry has called the Obama administration's actions an "end-run around the Supreme Court."
In the voter ID lawsuit, the U.S. government will contend that Texas adopted a voter identification law with the purpose of denying or restricting the right to vote on account of race, color or membership in a language minority group.

Well, the SCOTUS bitch-slapped Congress, so Holder is bitch-slapping them. Turnabout is fair play.

I really hate Holder and how the DOJ constantly tries to circumvent the law.

The Court found that the circumstances had changed from 40some years ago. They didn't 'bitch-slap' Congress.
