Just Had An Interesting Political Conversation with a Female Wook (Boulder, CO)

I'm walking the Pearl Street mall in Boulder over lunch, and I am approached by a female advocate for the ACLU. She asked me if I had a minute to help stop Donald Trump's policies. I always love listening to these people, so I of course stopped.

Among a few other things that are questionable, she started on about how Donald Trump wants to kick you out of your house if you're a lesbian (which she obviously was; doesn't matter, fine with me, but she was a dyke). I was intrigued, because I wanted to know which of his policies was being construed that way. She was unable to tell me though.

I'm never one to call these people out, lest they get wise and stop embarrassing themselves, but I gave her a very basic course on our constitutional framework. I was surprised when she admitted she has only been there for a week, and hasn't had the time to research what they tell her.

She also seemed surprised to hear that the ACLU is actually one of the first groups who had denounced the liberal protesters demanding conservative speakers be turned away from campus.

I asked her what she thought about A. Coulter and Milo being forced to cancel appearances at colleges. She said freedom of speech does not include hate speech

Hard to believe people walk the streets under the banner of the ACLU, an organization with a pretty decent track record on solving injustice throughout the past 70 years of American history, with so little knowledge of what they are touting.
