This case has everything.

Black guy accused of killing blonde high school cheerleader from the wrong side of the tracks.

And now the judge is handing out cotton stalks. Out of state producer is kicked out of the courthouse and the county.

quote:

When she opened the door, Jones reported he said, “Ms. Jones step out of the car … we were told you made a racial slur on social media last night is that true?”

“No,” Jones replied.

The official then asked if Jones took a picture, and apparently wasn’t interested in what Jones had to say after that point.

“Before I could answer, he said ‘You have five minutes to get your stuff together and leave Panola County and never come back here again’,” Jones reported that the major said. So to be clear, it appears our producer has been instructed to stay out of the courthouse and county because she posted something potentially embarrassing to the judge.

I can't keep track of of what is offensive these days. Is it worse to say "n@gger", support immigration controls or to kill someone? Which is the greater offense?

This is perhaps one of the stupidest things I've read. Race Race Race. People see racism everywhere, and where it doesn't exist, they simply make it up.

Of course we know. He was prosecuted in a case where the victim survived for several hours and repeatedly said "Eric did this". Yet this guy's name was Quinton. She also said she didn't know her Killer's last name but she grew up with Quinton Tellis.

Yeah, we get how it works in Mississippi.

So you just solved the case and never left your computer. Wow, great job, guy.

He still faces a murder charge in Monroe, LA I do believe.

Did the D.A. say they will re-try him on the Chambers case?

I don't know much about the Delta, but it is my impression that the whites and blacks get along there pretty well. It doesn't appear to be a segregated place.
