No doubt McCain is traveling on the taxpayer's dime. He is such a maverick.

quote:

John McCain is increasingly mad as hell about President Trump. And on Friday, he went after Trump — hard. During a speech at the Munich Security Conference in Germany, the Republican senator from Arizona delivered a pointed and striking point-by-point takedown of Trump's worldview and brand of nationalism. McCain didn't mention Trump's name once, but he didn't have to.

quote:

“They would be alarmed by the hardening resentment we see towards immigrants and refugees and minority groups -- especially Muslims.”

Not giving WaPo the clicks via a link.

Time to put McCain out to pasture. He's clearly been overcome by Establishment Derangement Syndrome.

But, but, WaPo is fake news! Or is it only fake when it doesn't fit your agenda? Your master has taught you well.

The voters of Arizona had just that opportunity. They chose otherwise. I mean certainly we can't begrudge a state for choosing its own representation in the Senate.

God knows that would be hypocritical considering where most of us hail from.

Exactly. This board is knee deep in hypocrisy and spin.

I agree, most voters are stupid and often don't act in their best interests. However, they occasionally get something right and make a great choice. For example, picking an a-hole over a criminal.

That idiot is going to our foreign allies, and is making a sorted effort to undermine the credibility of the President of the United States. He also said at the conference that the President's administration is in disarray...to our allies. What in the hell is he thinking?

Anybody that finds themselves acting in defense of someone so detestable like McCain more than a couple times is not someone that should be taken seriously.

Who the frick does McCain think he is going overseas to trash his President to foreign leaders?

The funny thing is the people bashing him are the same ones that voted for him against Obama the first time around. He was a great American and war hero but now people on here say that he can "go frick himself". Yep. trump is doing alot to bring this nation together alright. Now we are turning on our hero's and veterans if they oppose their Master trump.

It was based on the popular vote.
