The news report I watched said that Gasser shot Mcknight from his vehicle into Mcknight's, if this is correct then I'm not sure how Gasser was released from police custody unless Mcknight was brandishing a gun towards Gasser?

Just watched another report on the news that said Gasser shot Mcknight when Mcknight was out of his vehicle, still seems strange to release Gasser if Mcknight was not involved in a physical altercation with Gasser or threatening Gasser with a weapon.
Sad situation all the way around and completely senseless.
