Looks like Jindal is working hard for that conservative vote. Are y'all ready to storm D.C.?

Just let me know ahead of time so that I can stay home and watch Anthony Bourdain reruns on my DVR. It's hard enough getting around the city with the damned tourists running around all over the place.

Ain't nobody got time for more traffic.

Probably the most retarded thing Jindal has ever said. And that's saying a lot.

He really has lost his mind. he is trying everything he can to get some love for a run for president.
He really is disappointing more and more.

I hope Jindal and Rick Santorum beat each other to death with Bibles on stage at some podunk-arse church in Nowhere, Iowa.

Reminds me of the part on Old School when Will Ferrell thinks he is leading a bunch of people to go streaking and nobody follows.

The more he tries to be "everything to everyone" the more he alienates people. If you're a republican, authenticity (or at least perceived authenticity) is essential. It's like old country music. It has to come from the heart. Why is Jindal hated and Vitter slightly less hated? It's because Vitter is true to himself even though that self is a scumbag. He doesn't pretend to be doing what he does as a service to others. He is completely clear that he is purely serving himself and his own agenda. He has nothing to prove or disprove to anyone, he is who he is and people respect him for it...even though he's a complete scumbag.

Jindal tries to be all things to all people and ends up being nothing to no one. No one can trust what he says or what he believes in because those things change depending on who he's standing in front of. For Bobby Jindal, building a candidacy right now is like building a castle in a marsh. The more you try to convince it the more you sink. If Jindal was smart about all of this, he would have come out and said "here's who I am, here's what I believe, and here's why you should believe it to." Instead it has seemed more like "Who would you like me to be? What do you want me to believe in order for you to vote for me?"

Republicans, like old country music fans (mostly the same demographic) care more for authenticity than substance.

Would people in Louisiana be upset or grateful if Obama had Jindal arrested for treason?

Governor Jindal's comment is somewhat similar to the secession comment that Governor Perry made a few years back. And it will be taken out of context.

Both Perry's comment and Jindal's comment were not advocating hostilities against FedGov; they were warning that FedGov's actions are fermenting unrest.

Right now serious talk of such is firmly in the extremist camps. But if average Joes and average Janes begin to feel that FedGov's actions are not too far removed from the Capitol portrayed in The Hunger Games, will they be persuaded to think that such extreme measures are all that's left to preserve America as we know it?

I really hope when/if the GOP wins the next presidency, BJ is given the ambassadorship to Iceland & we never hear from him again. Sad to say, at his age, he's going to be around for a while in some capacity or another. A huge waste of talent, as he is way above average in intelligence, especially in comparision to other pols, and seemingly has no "criminal" intent in what he does (the polar opposite being EWE whose every action was criminally motivated)& at his age he could have done wonders for the state, and himself as well. Now he's a joke, pandering to anyone/thing he perceives as being able to help him politically.

It really as become utter comedy the extremes he is now going for any attention for 2016.

Within minutes last week of Scalise being elected Majority Whip, Jindal's twitter was trying so hard to brag about some bills he had just signed.

Whores gonna whore.

See, I think there are plenty of appropriate criticisms of Jindal, but this isn't one.

A politician who doesn't pimp themselves is guilty of malfeasance in office. Your job simply cannot be done unless you have people on your side. To do that you should ABC: Always Be Campaigning.

This just isn't a valid criticism of Jindal, or any politician for that matter, in my book. The best (worst?) you can say is that he can be a little ham-fisted about it.

He's done enough campaigning for three people since 2008.

Name another Louisiana GOP elected official who was self-promoting like that within the minute of the word getting out about Scalise's win.
