This thread. People celebrating an immigrant Trump deported has committed suicide.

I feel sorry that he killed himself. But him being here illegally or committing a crime got him deported. He was breaking the frigging law. Dang Toddy you are such a rube.

You know, I dislike our immigration system (or lack thereof) as much as anyone but frick you people for finding joy in this. There is nothing christian nor human about mocking and cheering this. The man made a mistake by being here illegally but it pains me to think about how bad he saw his life becoming if he decided ending it would be better.

Loose borders should be blamed for such a situation happening, not the people who take advantage of it. If he has a family, death will be carried by them for the rest of their lives, like some uncanny foretaste of a bitter memory.

You don't have a christian heart if you don't at least somewhat feel bad about this. The bell tolls for you tonight, too.

They are only upvoting it because the left is using the story to further their political agenda and the upvoters are anti-left.

I really hope you're better than this. I know I'm an antagonizing figure on this forum but we all need to take a break. Celebrating a man's death because he "didn't win the lottery" as SFP so accurately stated is despicable. This transcends politics.

This is the shite that we're talking about when we say overall shitty people post here. The guy kills himself and your first thought is "at least he won't get to vote in our next election"? Are you fricking insane?

Wait til you hear how multiple muslims have killed themselves in Scandinavia after getting their deportation notice. At least five have so far.

I think it's okay not to care. I don't really care that much myself if I'm being honest. But the positive reaction is a little disturbing. There's a strain of sadism that can permeate some discussions around here that's worse than merely failing to empathize.
The issue I have is the virtue signaling and I see it on a daily basis.

This idea that caring about someone you never knew and then professing it to others so that they know you care is very annoying to me.

The OP doesn't actually care about this individual. I understand his point in relation to people upvoting his suicide, but I disagree with the virtue signaling on all counts and find it more annoying.

At least those who upvote or proclaim that they don't care are being honest.

This board's celebration of getting the dirty, disease carrying immigrants out is quite another. Most people didn't feel like that before Trump,

bullshite...

Trump didn't come with some great narrative; he said what a lot of people were thinking

Most people didn't feel like that before Trump, they allowed his rhetoric (and in fairness to him, the rhetoric of other supporters) to turn their anti-illegal immigration position into an unhinged emotional response.

Well that's just horseshite.

The emotion I feel about this is frustration that the socially acceptable position these days amounts to willful subjugation of ourselves and our laws to whichever 3rd world peoples want to come here.

It's a crazy idea that would have been universally opposed in the recent past.

You want to talk about rhetoric and manipulation. Lets talk about the world-class con job that's been pulled by globalists on American citizens since 1965 to make them cuck themselves.

Does anyone else find this disturbing? It's by the Grace of God that you weren't born in Mexico or some other country that doesn't have it as good as we do or access to the endless opportunities we have in this country.

But you are celebrating this man's death as some wonderful thing?

Please explain to me why you're so happy about this. You don't know this man. This was someone's grandson and son and quite possibly someone's husband and father.

I've been a member of this forum for almost seven years and I've never seen such a galling lack of empathy for someone in my life.

L.A. commented in another thread that liberals are all about "emotion and feelings". I'll take that any day versus the lack of human decency I've seen displayed for this man. I'm really in disbelief.

You ever stop to think that perhaps we don't have a shortage of really terrible people on here?

I have no doubt of this, but I hope you're wrong.

And I really think Trump has prompted reasonable people to put grievances onto an enemy they didn't really know they had.

And to be totally blunt, the type of prejudice that arises from experience, in our region, isn't typically directed at hispanics. I never saw the type of vitriol we see now before this populist surge named hispanic immigrants as public enemy #1.

He's not dead because he didn't win the lottery you idiot.
Nearly every person born in human history prior to the last 100 years had it worse off from a material standpoint than that man would have had it in Mexico. He didn't kill himself because he couldn't live in the US.

I have zero sympathy for a suicide, even less for a criminal that commits suicide.

Peddle you bullshite elsewhere, I'm not buying it.

Here's another point that largely didn't exist on this board before mid 2015.
