So... Muslims are the only group in the world that says "you are afraid of us so I'll prove why you shouldn't fear us by killing people in terrible ways to make you too afraid to be afraid of us"?

I think "The Five" cleared it up today. "They are given status here and immediately given the victim card". "This promotes an attitude of everything happening to them good/bad/other is always because they are victims of Islamaphobia". "It's built in from the government, promoted as such to become a way of life." "All it takes is a 'trigger' to get some over the edge".
Sounds reasonable to me. The trick is to figure out which allow this card to take over their life and commit murderous acts. My suggestion; don't let any from terrorists countries into the U.S.; end of story.
