Is there a reason the airport shooting didn't reignite gun control debate?

What was different about this one? After every one of these things, there are op eds and commentary on the necessity of gun control

Obama is too busy blaming Russians in a last ditch attempt to preserve his "legacy" to comment on things he did not get done.

Schizophrenic ISIS too obvious?

Obama busy partying to 4am?

Too distracted by Democrat enemy one number Trump?

The rational answer, if the Democrats are rational, is if they couldnt get gun control passed when they had power, it is certainly a waste of time to talk about it now.

There's a vote next week in FLA on guns in airports.

I'd assume this will have an impact on that.

This could turn into more security and regulations at airports.

Probably the fact he was ex military and a CCW holder.

Proves that violent crime by using a legal, or non-legal firearm cannot be prevented, it can only be disuaded by armed good guys in close proximity. Hence, any "gun-free" zone is a killing field.

The left doesn't want to acknowledge this.
