Instead of being on board and enjoying the ride for the last year and a half they were miserable wastes and trump destroyed their entire platform with his Supreme Court nomination.

Most of the nevertrumpers I know have gradually slipped into supporting him.

The Nomination for SCOTUS went a loooooong way towards bridging that divide.

Incorrect.

For most who cared solely about the Court, the ball is now in McConnell's hands. There is still the great possibility that the Dems will filibuster, McConnell will cave, and Trump will nominate Souter 2.0.

It just can't be said often enough that by insisting on broken down, incompetent national security felon Clinton, too ill to even campaign properly - all those progs, never trumpers and fools put Trump in the White House.

And it also worth remembering that Clinton's maniacal pursuit of power also has us in our current situation which may be very good indeed.

Well I'm probably one, although not as exteme (I support his lessening of taxes and regulation), but to answer this:

It checks out in my case.

Even the most adamant of Never Trumpists, namely Michael Berry, has been praising The Magnificent One lately, for his Cabinet picks and his actions, after endless scurrilous attacks during the campaign.

You really still clinging to this foolishness? Dems would assure giving a senate supermajority to the GOP if they pulled that. Guaranteed. In other words, it ain't happening.

Uh, Mitch showed unbelievably big brass balls that no one thought existed keeping Garland from getting a hearing before the election. He bought himself many a vote of confidence with that gambit.

Besides, it's looking more likely that democrats will let Gorsuch though as its just Scalia being replaced by a Scalia clone and doesn't upset the ideological balance of the court.

Filibuster is likely for RGB and Breyer replacement.
