The Secret History Of The Trump-Putin Meeting And Its Consequences

It certainly appears that Trump has, at best, mixed loyalties, like many on this board.

That entire article can be summed up as follows: "If you see the facts how we tell you to see them it has dire consequences!"

It's nothing but drivel that makes ridiculous generalizations and presumptions about nearly every issue, government, and person involved. All strung together with just enough innuendo to say something MAY be afoot. Sad!

To be fair...how do you know he didn't read the article BEFORE?

Are you assuming that ONLY you can find Forbes articles and he simply waits for YOU to bring wisdom to him?

Its not diplomacy when the American people are not represented by a witness or a readout of what is said between principles.

you people have truly lost your fricking minds

How many transcripts of meetings between Obama and foreign leaders did you "request" or look into? It's a hypothetical we both know the answer is 0 due to your blinding hypocrisy

And ETA you don't need a witness. Your democratically elected POTUS was there advancing our nation's interests.

every single Obama trip had a press pool following him and his staff which always held a Q&A session usually several times during the trip.

not one American press person was allowed to ask questions of our Dumbass president the entire time of his nine day trip.

this meeting was unannouced and no American representation, only a Russian translator was present, and this also lasted over an hour.

d ETA you don't need a witness. Your democratically elected POTUS was there advancing our nation's interests.

'advancing our...interest' haha you funny,

"folks i wont be on the golf course, I will never leave the white house cuz Ill be working my arse off for you.'

20 percent of his time as president has been spent on his golf properties.

and you think he is working Russia for our interests...okay keep telling yourself that despite volumes of evidence otherwise

Yea, that's really not a well-written piece. Take the transition from the first paragraph to the second for example:
quote:

Trump is following a script
quote:

We are dealing here with the Kremlin which, unlike our President, has a historical pattern of predictable conduct
In literally back to back sentences, the author contradicts himself. "Trump is predictible!" "Trump is unpredictable!" And that's all just part of the setup to the piece.

In a vacuum, I'd say that this was high school yearbook quality writing. But more likely, it was intentionally done so that people like you, with a huge natural predisposition for hating Trump, will read both sentences, latch on to the one you've heard in the past, and completely overlook the contradiction with the other.

And I say none of this to put you down. It's called confirmation bias, and we all do it. But the only way to overcome that bias is to become aware of it, so here you go. Be aware that you just fell for a pile of drivelish crap with very little substantive content.

this was an hour long undisclosed meeting, this wasnt some five minute 'hey whats up'.

no we dont deserve a transcript but it is expected that some sort of quick readout is made when nations principles meet for any length of time.

It cracks me up Trumpkins think its okay for the president to sit down with a one on one with no witnesses in light of all thats going on with #muhRussians.

Its a witchhunt remember.

No way you actually believe that. Literally thousands of meetings take place every day where "America" is represented. See the colossal Depts of State, Defence, Homeland Sec., etc.

Do you really think it is a story for the most senior official in the United States to meet privately with another world leader?

The premise that a readout or a witness are needed at all diplomatic meetings (or have EVER been universally present at those meetings) is either completely dishonest or
ridiculously naive.

Also, by the way, the President is an elected representative of the American people. You fail. You never have, won't, and never will get what you claim to want. The entire reason the meetings are held privately to begin with is because some things are too sensitive to handle in the public spotlight. But you already know that.

I also will not consider anything "in light of what is going on" because I don't buy into the ridiculous narrative in the first place.

What you didn't grasp is that Trump is following a predictable Kremlin script which has been played over and over. If Trump had his own script which he was following, none of this would be a problem. Trump apparently refuses to follow the experience guided advise of the U.S. Intelligence community, which he has openly said he does not trust or believe.
