In Game Thread : GA Sixth Congressional District Special Election

I'm not expecting Ossoff to get 50% + 1 but I do think he's going to perform well. This is the most affluent district as a whole in Georgia. This district represents the traditional Republican coalition. We will see tonight how well Trump is holding onto the traditional Romney type voters.

He's an arrogant bastard - just like all the rest of the Dems. People are tired of that. You'll see what I mean. 15-17% tops.

Wont come close. Special election is not where national waves happen. 2018 is another story though.

How much you want to bet on this? I know LOTS of people that are turning out to vote in this that usually don't bother with elections like this.

Final batch of polls had Ossoff around 40% but with only about 2% undecided. That means there won't be some big late break towards him. If anything, he underperfoms slightly. I'll go with 35-37% for him.

Everybody on MSNBC says this will take a while GA was super slow on election night.
Molly Ball from the Atlantic said something interesting - that Trump won the "vapor vote" - it's 10MM libertarian / slacker youth who want govt off their back. Was something I never heard before but those kids didn't trust Hillary
