You're very confused. These ads have been known about for a loooong time.

Yeah, that's my point. Stuff that's common knowledge IRL are conspiracy theories to the geniuses on this board.

That's what makes this place so much fun.

As someone who doesn't follow conspiracy theories with much interest, my only question about this ad is, Is it real?

I don't know what it could possibly mean regarding the investigation of the mass murder incident and my mind strains to even come up with any plausible association. So, no, I don't think for a second that it's related, nor do I think there is any conspiracy going on here (without some other evidence coming forward). (Admittedly, there are still unanswered questions.)

Still, the very nature of that ad is troubling, no matter what they are supposedly using "crisis actors" for. Even if it's only to boost numbers for a protest, I find that to be a "conspiracy" of sorts. It's blatant dishonesty and that practice should be exposed whenever it is discovered.

I was doing temp work before between schools about 20 years ago and got unwittingly through the temp agency roped into actually being one of these people in Baton Rouge on some cause in front of the state capitol that I can't even remember.

Hardly anyone showed up, though, and I just sat on a Hotard Coach and watched Space Jam for a couple of hours.

The ad might not be real...

BUT, the organizations that hire crowds most certainly real.

I've been a moulage victim for military exercises back in the 90s.
To my knowledge, they were never used for political ends, but companies like the White Hats exist.

I don't get it. Were they being hired to go to a concert?

Yep. Outside the obvious I don't see these as particularly nefarious

If you're hiring crisis actors for a real conspiracy, you're not picking up random people off of Craigslist for the job

Then you're in the wrong place. Politics and conspiracy go hand-in-hand. Always has, always will.

Ummm, Roger....could you take this question, please?

Thank you, Pollyanna, for your gripping analysis. You'll fit in perfectly on the poliboard.

These are repeating ads that don't necessarily coincide with events. Mainly hired for protests

Unlikely. But could have been hired for compartmentalized plausible deniability purposes; not unlike government sending military thousands of miles away to kill or be killed in the guise of freedom.

TX Tiger, I've been around this board way longer than you. I know your posting history and your belief in expansive global conspiracies. You can call me Pollyanna if you like, I prefer to be considered wise and measured in my responses.

The fact of the matter is, the only way to have effective democracy is to insist on honest discussion and debate. There is so little of that going on, true, but that just means we need to rededicate ourselves to that standard.

You would if you could use them for plausible deniability purposes.

Ex: The fertilizer maker doesn't know that a customer is buying his product to make a bomb. However, he unwittingly did his part (make the fertilizer).

If it's real...maybe, maybe not, the OP never asserted that the crowd was shot, wasn't shot, that they were necessarily used here...

But, a couple familiar faces made it on TV, and the ad MAY have been real.

It doesn't mean anything if they were really crisis actors put on TV...other than the event may have been premeditated.

And to confront the word: conspiracy...
If more than 1 person committed the crime, it's a conspiracy. If it was a guy acting alone, it isn't.

People attach a stigma to this like it identifies people as loons...

In

Just know that for 13 years on this board, I've been called a conspiracy kook while trying to have honest discussion. So you'll have to excuse me if I'm a little defensive in my responses.
