IMO, Trump is in MAJOR political danger. Re: Obamacare.

If he signs this “bipartisan” bill to continue Obamacare subsidies and throw a lifeline to Obamacare after railing against it for so long this has a very high chance of being his “read my lips” moment.
This is a big deal folks. Trump better veto or congress better bail him out by not passing this multi-billion dollar payoff to insurance companies.
Flirting with this is very risky for Trump. He signs it, it’s one term for Trump and continued socialized medicine for the Dems and GOPe . HUGE win for the Dems and GOPe. HUGE. They get Obamacare and guarantee a one term Trump b/c his base will abandon him. ‘18 will be a shite show too when the right is just as unmotivated as the left is during midterms. That’s the consequences.
ETA: crisis averted...proposal dead.

He has no choice but to veto it and blame it on Republicucks for not repealing.
Then, turn Bannon loose.

Look here's the deal. If they don't pass this insurance premiums are going way up and working stiffs like you an me are going to have to pay.

Continues the insurance subsidies he took away last week (by court ruling).

I agree, if he signs the bill bailing out Obamacare, he and his party will take ownership of this monstrosity.

It’s my understanding it’s just out of committee today. It still has a long way to go. They will probably try and hide under the budget bill.

He's behind a rock and a hard place, GP. Obama/Progs knew that once they handed out subsidies...whomever took them away would be toast. And the old model of padding Hospital Emergency room costs for care of the poor by running deficits or inflating Insurance Premium cost for the Insured...won't cut it anymore. They are going to have to PAY for the care of all the tens of millions who can not pay, will not, and take little responsibility for policing their health.
It's a mess, buddy. And it will take a strong Leadership position to do what really be needs to be done to address it. In a moral and practical way. The Courts are going to have to be stacked, and the economy ramped up.

trump took them away by court ruling? meaning a court ruled he could so he then did?
haven't been keeping up with our health policy shenanigans for a good while now. but if this is anything like what you describe it sounds like open revolt

LOL you wish this was the case so badly. Blame Congress. Trump is doing everything on his own in regards to Obamacare.
You're projecting again.

Uh, did you listen to Gruber? The idea was to bankrupt the middle class , so they would join the lower class in supporting single payer, out of shear exhaustion. That’s the intent, and they relied on Americans to be so dumb as not to see it, as Gruber clearly stated. You are either on the side of freedom or for socialized everything.....I say Trump vetoes the shite out of this....

Were you calling it shite before now? Seems as if you agree it was/is a shite program like the rest of us across the aisle have harped about for seven years.
