I was a little worries about him after his early missteps. But, if he can stay striking the tone he did tonight then we are in good hands.

I'm a conservative/libertarian who voted against Mrs. Clinton

Supreme Court was my deciding factor. Among a few other items, including envisioning terrorist BLM visits to the White House that my taxes pay for.

What swayed you, Ted, not to vote (D)?

So if I'm recalling correctly (and a perusal of your topics started):

1. You were a Democrat who voted for Romney, proudly stating it here.

2. Then last year you admitted that was a lie, and you actually voted for Obama.

3. Kasich was your number 1 candidate during the primaries at one time

4. You ended up voting for Bernie in the primaries.

5. You voted for Trump in the general.

6. You were wavering in your support of Trump.

7. You're back on board with Trump.

MAKE UP YOUR MIND TED.

Certainly, the initial roll-out of the immigration "ban" was poorly done. Right policy or wrong, the roll-out sucked, period.

Geebus. Trump's nominees for NSA, Sec of Army, Sec of Navy, and Sec of Labor are gone now. His Sec of Education had to be approved by the VP breaking a tie. The FBI is investigating contacts between the Trump people and Russian operative both during and after the campaign, a campaign the Russians clearly tried to disrupt or influence. Bizarre statements by Stephen Miller, Kellyanne Conway along with petty tweets by the POTUS have showcased the ineptitude of his administration. Trump's NSA guy says using the term "radical Islamic terrorism" is not helpful in fighting terrorism. Tonight DT uses that same term. DT says we should have taken Iraq's oil and suggests we still might some day while his Sec of Defense assures the Iraqis we will pay for our own oil and gas.

Donald Trump's first 40+ days has been shakey at best and probably closer to a disaster.

Going to be a long eight years for you if you really think he has been a disaster.

Might want to buckle in with that attitude. Might be a long 4-8 for you.

The sensitivities to radical Islam are what got us where we are in the first place. Call a spade a spade brah.

It's true, draining the swamp has been tougher than he thought. Lots of beurocrats don't like seeing things shaken up and they are resisting change.

Some get downvoted for being stupid, some get downvoted because they made a good irrefutable point that just doesn't line up with the boards view.

You're downvotes are because of the latter.

Had any generic democrat said the things that Trump said last night about increasing spending and government intervention into the free market this board would have imploded....

See, i wouldn't go that far. Some of his picks, like Mad Dog and Gorsich, have been very good. His EO on the EPA's insane definition of navigable waters and for agency law to always be interpreted, when in doubt, in favor of the private citizen and against the government are hugely important reforms for cutting back federal overreach.

So far, he has given me enough to be both concerned and excited.
