This country is shifting hard left and much quicker than you would have ever thought. This is an ideological fight for the future of this nation. This hard left movement must be crushed/ rolled back during the Trump/ Pence years. That is the reason that you are seeing the reaction from the hard left. They are not going to go away and be rolled back without a fight. Trump has no help from the worthless GOPe. Those bastards need to go and fast. Ryan, McConnell, McCain, etc. want to see Trump lose. They would rather see the hard left triumph than to see the Swamp reformed. The next two elections will determine the direction that we take.

But the Poli Board keeps telling me that Trump has wiped out the last 8 years and has set "liberals" back 40 years.

I see your battle with reading comprehension is still not going well. You liberals have set yourselves back to the Stone Age.

The Dem losses under Obama and Trump's victory did that. The temper tantrums from the left and ANTIFA violence are just solidifying it.

You guys just make a lot of noise.

Fight's over and Trump lost.

I know this board is the magic bubble that Trump's key supporters run to when things are tough.

But his presidency is a laughing stock. He still hasn't managed to get his agenda through Congress...and considering he is now at war with the very Senators and congressmen he needs to pass said agenda. Pretty much it's all dead.

Trump might be (and I say might because he did go out of business four times) a good business guy, but being a good business guy where you are a dictator does not translate well to running a country where even your own close advisors tell you to frick off.

Game over.

Not yet. He can do it if he nominates a majority ultra conservative Supreme Court. That would set you back for 40 years. Almost everything that Trump has done so far, killing regulations, etc. could be reversed in one election cycle. He needs to win major legislative victories and I fear the Dems and the GOPe are going to fight him on everything. The GOPe want him to lose as bad as the Dems do. Legislation is hard to reverse: see the worthless Obamacare. Tax Reform would be hard to reverse if Trump got it through.

I'm sticking with my prediction of Socialist Totalitarian New USA by 2117. I see absolutely nothing in our Establishment institutions that have any intention of attempting to even slow down the Left.

This maybe the last chance that we have to stem the tide of this country going hard left. Trump must win this battle.

Agreed. We needed a president who could unite people, and sell them on ideas.

Unbeknownst to us DT had no ideas and his hate filled narrative polorized the nation.

You now have to choose a side, and most are not choosing Trump.

Trump is fighting the GOPe as much as the DiMe.. I believe it is a wonderful thing Trump is showing all conservatives what a bunch of lairs the GOPe are.. Ryan and McConell are both worse than the Dims, at least the DIMs are honest about who they are, but GOPe are downright lairs.. SO I doubt trump gets much done, until 2018.. Hopefully we primary a few Rino's and get them out. SHould be a fun mid term...

Just take a look at the gains that the hard left have made over the last 10 years. Gains that I would have sworn 20 years ago that I would never see in my lifetime.

I fear that the hard left is more dedicated to the fight and to their ideology than the right is. We have very few leaders on the right that are willing to fight for what we believe in. We have leaders that are cowards and have no conviction.

Spot on. Its not the ideology that is failing, its the messenger and how he is unable to transcend his many weaknesses. He can't even unite the White House, so how is he supposed to unite the country? Trump should sit back and just let Gen. Kelly run the country. Competence is much needed.

I know that's the popular sentiment here in Trumpland, but is it a wise move on his part. Most of his agenda is dead. You simply cannot run a nation the way you ran your business. When running your business and one of your minions gets uppity you fire him. In government he gives interviews to undermine your ability to govern. Senators fight back. All this has led to the truck wreck you are now witnessing.

How many more of his senior advisers will be out this week. The fact that so many have quit or been forced out shows just how much chaos is going on.

Chaos is never a strength.

When it finally comes, the culture change happens quickly.

This is how fast America changes its mind

Is there really any doubt that he's going to lose this battle? In the end he's going to lose, and lose big.

Nope. He'll just morph into something that looks a lot like an establishment Republican.
