The CSA Constitution (aside from the whole chattel slavery thing) is way more aligned with my political ideology so I say yes - aside form the whole slavery issue.
quote:The Civil War did involve a lot of issues besides slavery, and in fact, those other issued contributed to setting the South back decades after the war. However, even if the South would have won, at some point, slavery would stop, but the question is, when? And also, if the South won, would 'free' slaves have been sent back to Africa? How would a Southern government feel about all the Northern free slaves??
Would we be better off? I say yes.
And also, if the South won, would 'free' slaves have been sent back to Africa?
North still wouldn't have embraced slavery.
You are an absolute MORON if you think slavery didn't exist in the North after (or before) the War.
