First let me say that I do not like Paula Deen and I have no problem whatsoever with the fallout from her deposition.

If she had said the 'n' word in public - on live TV, or especially if she'd said it on a recording and never bothered to edit it out - that
would be an acceptable reason to get fired.
That isn't what happened.
This is just another example of "PC" run amok. A woman from Georgia in her sixties used the "N" word, we're not entirely sure when... and I'm supposed to be shocked?
What utter rubbish. I'm bothered by Deen getting 'fired' from everywhere she worked. In fact, if I were JCPenny, Sears, Lowes, Home Depot, Target, etc... I'd be drawing up a contract for her to sign that would put her products in my stores - after a brief, few month cooling off period, of course!
