If Kim Jung is ousted and China takes North Korea *SCENARIO*

Is that a scenario OK with the board?
No way China allows a unified American friendly (controlled and used) nation under it's belly budded up against them
Whether we like to admit it or not, North Korea has been beneficial to China in terms of forcing US to focus it's attention constantly on North Korea and not on China near as much. North Korea is a deterrent that China has put up with for a reason.

Yeah, and they are on the verge of being able to wreck the World, and China's biggest trading partner, and bringing the pain/fallout to their doorstep. The bluff may be up.

How the hell have we had to focus any sizable amount of attention on North Korea at all? I swear most of this board hasn't the faintest shitling of what they're spewing and just regurgitating huff-post talking points. NORTH KOREA IS NOT A NUCLEAR THREAT. THEY HAVE NO DELIVERY MECHANISM.

I actually don't mind it. Just that we have to pay for it when it does happen. China won't pay for it because they already don't care if he is there or not.

The only real assets they'd gain would be coal. But they'd have a massive humanitarian crisis on their hands and Asians are notorious for being racist.

Let them have the place. So long as they get rid of the NK ICBM and nuke programs.
They invade. We could even help with air strikes against the nuke and air defense sites. They put flunkies in power that sign a non aggression pact with the South and end the war with us. We, China, SK and Japan send in humanitarian aid and Chinese troops maintain order.
No more DMZ and thousands of US troops. China gets their coal we get to bring home a bunch of soldiers sailors Marines and airmen. Peace on the peninsula a win-win for everyone.
