I'd vote for him in a heartbeat. Dude has real passion for what he believes.

That's like saying "I wish a fish could live out of water".

Almost nothing libertarian about that collectivist hack.

He's on the complete opposite side of the spectrum as a libertarian.

Just saying that I like Bernie despite the majority of his views

I want more people with passion in our government

He believes in enriching himself. Doesn't practice what he preaches.

I will say it again, like I have a million times to others... Bernie didn't get the numbers be got because of exactly what his political beliefs - yes some of his followers were in love with his school policy, but he had the following for the same reason Trump did: he was a bona fide outsider.

Although I have always said I respected Bernie because he honestly believed in what he said, even if I disagreed, it's still a dumb statement. You know who else was passionate in what they believed?? Hitler. He was extremely pationate.
Btw, I stopped respecting Bernie when it was proven thorough WikiLeaks that he was right...It was rigged against him, but he acted like a little bitch when the Dem party told him to keep his mouth shut and support Hillary...Which he did.
Lost all respect for him once that happened.

This isn't true. Socially, he's pretty damn close to being a Libertarian. He diverges when you start talking about the role of gov't and economic issues.

Ron Paul is a much better role model or example of what a passionate and articulate Libertarian should look like. The better wish would be to have Ron Paul be able to dumb down his rhetoric to Obama/Trump level to influence our moronic electorate.

Passion isn't exactly a rare quality.

Bernie is a clown with clownish beliefs.

Reminds me of the wise old adage ...

wish in one hand and crap in the other and see which one fills up first.

Yeah I get it

This is just a reactionary thread to seeing Bernie on MtP

Basically Bernie seems more likable than Rand

Libertarians have an inherent disadvantage in politics as they see the very office they are running for as being a fundamental obstacle to freedom and prosperity to the voter. Probably hard to be passionate about that job.

You can't have it both ways. That's a fallacy. Sorry.
