Never in a million years did I think the spark that started the rise of the Social Justice Warrior would end up with so much pure comedic gold.
I know, I know. SJW's existed prior to #GamerGate, but up until then they were pretty much relegated to Tumblr and various media outlets like Jezebel. #GamerGate really was the catalyst that exposed their brand of lunacy to the general public though.

I thought GamerGate was a big pissed off complaint that crappy games by female developers weren't getting as much play as big selling franchises like Call of Duty were.
IIRC, the SJW female reviewers made the tactical error of referring to the #1 (by far) demographic of video game player (15-40 yo male) as a bunch of pathetic virgins, which sparked the 4chan/reddit troll brigades into action.

#GamerGate gave us Milo and turned Millennials further Right than they would have been without it. It has given rise to personalities who are influencing the generation coming behind the Millennials, too.

I think you're actually right. GameGate ended up being the SJW invasion of Poland; the final straw that forced the allies to stand up and start fighting.
