If Kentucky was so conservative how do they keep re electing him? That gun toting girl democrat "country girl can survive" woulda been a much better choice last time he ran against someone

McConnell might as well be a Democrat. He's gotta be the first to go.

What is the process for getting a new senate leader? I would rather Trump focus on that then on Ryan.

McConnell is the worst.

It was McConnell vs Lundergan-Grimes. Both suck, so the republican got the nod. Grimes is a big Hillary and Obama fan anyways. If somebody that was worth a hoot would run against him, I would vote for that person. Until someone does though, we're stuck with him.

McConnell is way more of the entrenched, do nothing GOPe type that this board loathes than Ryan is.

McConnell probably bought himself time by handling the SCOTUS issue well, but it's time to start finding and promoting talent in Congress and start moving some of the old guard out.

Not that it is entirely up to him, but I hope Trump embraces that idea. He can help mold it if he's so inclined, but the GOP needs to work on the farm system. The Dems' bench is pretty thin, and we don't want to end up in the position of having to trot out Doles and McCains in the future.

Hence why bannon isn't a bad idea to me. It's a clear signal who's in charge. There's a new GOP and the leader of that GOP is Donald J Trump

That's why we need term limits in Congress. Eight years max.
