I personally think he is Trump's biggest asset.

I know a lot of people don't like him on a personal level but in my opinion, he is the smartest mind in our party.

Thank God for Trump and Newt. They will not only MAGA, they will improve the lives of every American. Four years from now, every American will be better off than they are now.

frick you Obama. America talked, time for the bullshite to walk.

I believe Newt needs to be involved as well. Newt is extremely knowledgeable and isn't scared to speak his mind.

I genuinely would like to hear your opinion about that.

I love me some Newt. Guy doesn't take shite from anyone and I think can help Trump get things done on the hill.

He's a dirty politician, but I think Trump needs at least one of those in his corner.

Newt has expressed his desire to be part of the team.

I completely agree. Newt is an unapologetic conservative who will out maneuver the Democrats at every turn.

Republicans need to crush the Democrats at every opportunity and not fall into the mindset of trying to play nice with them.

Just look at his global warming support a while back. The guy will support anything/anyone.

quote:

Climate change[edit] In February 2007 Gingrich stated that he "would strongly support" a cap and trade system for reducing carbon emissions based on the success of the Acid Rain Program enacted by Congress during his tenure. He later changed his position, saying that such a trading system "would lead to corruption, political favoritism, and would have a huge impact on the economy".[68] In April 2007 Gingrich called for "Green conservatism" and carbon-reduction tax credits.[69] More recently Gingrich has expressed skepticism that mankind is significantly altering the climate and has preferred curbing carbon emissions through market-incentives instead of by taxes or cap-and-trade plans. He has opposed the Kyoto Protocol, stating that the protocols unfairly favor Europe, China and India to the disadvantage of the U.S.[63] In 2008, Gingrich accepted an invitation from Al Gore to appear with Democratic House Speaker Nancy Pelosi in a commercial produced by one of Gore's climate advocacy organizations.[70] In the ad, Gingrich stated that he and Pelosi "agree our country must take action to address climate change".[71] In 2011, Gingrich said his appearance in the ad was "the dumbest single thing I've done".[70]

Newt is really the only person that actually achieved any remote conservative push in the government in the last 100 years.

As mentioned, he is very knowledgeable. Offers lots of historical analogies. He has a great online course, if you guys want to watch that. IDK if it is free or not, I saw it over a decade ago.

Last Sunday on FTN, he said his job in the administration would be to "reshape the Fed Gov't".

He would be perfect for that task.

Newt is nothing but a piece of shite political opportunist that is only looking out for Newt.

He is smart and a great debater, speaker, no doubt, but he has backed liberal policies and was a paid lobbyist for Freddie. Dude is no good.

the smartest man in DC. I still enjoy hearing liberals talk about how they were responsible for balancing the budget in the 90s.

Hannity has had him on several times and Newt has stated that he does not wish to have a cabinet position but wants to help with overall strategic planning of the Trump admistration.

I cannot stand Newt Gingrich. But I can get past that because he's smart, knows how to enact change in gov't, and can and will help MAGA.
